Settings
Truck Me gives you full control over audio alerts, map display, notifications, and navigation preferences. Access settings from the gear icon in the bottom nav or the menu.
Audio Controls
Truck Me has a comprehensive audio system with independent controls:
Master Toggle
- Audio on/off, single switch to mute all audio alerts instantly. Useful when taking a call or in a quiet zone.
Per-Category Toggles
Each alert type can be enabled or disabled independently:

Volume
- Independent volume slider for Truck Me alerts, separate from your device volume.
- Adjust to be audible over engine noise without being startling.
Map Display
- Map style, standard or satellite view.
- Network overlay, show/hide the colour-coded NHVR road access layer.
- Incident markers, show/hide community incident pins on the map.
- Fuel stations, show/hide fuel station markers and prices.
- Speed display, show/hide the speed overlay and choose display position.
- Dark mode, auto (follow device), always dark, or always light. Dark mode is easier on the eyes for night driving.
Notifications
- Network changes, get notified when a saved route's road access status changes.
- Incident alerts, push notifications for new incidents near your location or on active routes.
- App updates, notifications for new Truck Me versions and feature announcements.
Navigation Preferences
- Default vehicle, set which vehicle profile is selected by default when planning a route.
- Route preference, default to fastest, shortest, or community preferred route.
- Units, kilometres (default for Australia).
- Avoid tolls, toggle to prefer non-toll routes where possible.
Offline Maps
- Downloaded regions, manage your offline map downloads.
- Auto-update, automatically download updates for saved regions when on Wi-Fi.
- Storage usage, see how much space offline maps are using.

Driver Logbook
- Logbook tier, Off, Reminders, or Tracking.
- Rest reminder interval, set the drive time threshold for break reminders.
- Auto-log trips, skip the prompt and always record trips (Tier 3).

Account
- Email, update your account email.
- Subscription, manage your Free, Pro, or Fleet subscription.
- Delete account, permanently remove your account and all data.
