Welcome to Truck Me

Truck Me gives heavy vehicle drivers routes that only use NHVR-approved roads for their specific vehicle type. No more guessing which roads you can legally drive, Truck Me handles it.

Download & Install

Truck Me is available on iOS and Android. Download from the App Store or Google Play, create an account, and you're ready to go.

First-Time Setup

When you open Truck Me for the first time, you'll walk through a quick onboarding:

  1. Create your account, email or sign in with Google/Apple.
  2. Select your vehicle type, choose your combination type (General Access, B-Double, Road Train, PBS, etc.).
  3. Grant permissions, location access for navigation and notifications for incident alerts.
  4. Set your preferences, audio alerts, units, and default map view.

Your First Route

Once setup is done, planning a route takes seconds:

  1. Tap the search bar on the home screen.
  2. Enter your destination, type an address, town, or drop a pin on the map.
  3. Review the route, Truck Me shows you the NHVR-approved route with a colour-coded network overlay. Green means approved. Amber means conditional. Red means restricted.
  4. Start navigation, tap "Go" for turn-by-turn directions with live bridge height warnings, speed alerts, and community incident reports.

Vehicle Types

Truck Me supports all NHVR vehicle combination types:

  • General Access, standard heavy vehicles under general mass limits
  • B-Double, twin-trailer combinations up to 26m
  • Road Train Type 1, truck and two trailers
  • Road Train Type 2, truck and three or more trailers
  • PBS (Performance Based Standards), vehicles approved under performance-based assessment
  • Over-dimensional, loads exceeding standard dimensions

Each type maps to a specific approved road network. Your routes will only use roads approved for your selected vehicle.
